The test drivers in the spotlight
WITH most of the Formula 1 drivers deciding to stay out in Asia between the Australian and Malaysian Grands Prix, it has been left to the test drivers to do the work in Europe. Luca Badoer has been conducting testing for Ferrari at Fiorano while Jordan, Benetton, Williams, Jaguar and Arrows have been running cars at Silverstone for test drivers Ricardo Zonta (Jordan), Mark Webber (Benetton), Marc Gene (Williams), Johnny Herbert (Arrows) and Pedro de la Rosa and Tomas Scheckter for Jaguar.
McLaren was in action at Magny-Cours with Alexander Wurz being joined by youngster Gary Paffett.
