Button completes Benetton testing at Estoril
JENSON BUTTON completed Benetton's nine-days of testing at the Estoril circuit on Thursday as he drove alone for the final day.
Button concentrated on race preparation for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix and worked on the car's brakes and Michelin tires with long runs also focusing on the qualifying set-up.
The British driver completed 61 laps with a best time of one minute and 19.440 seconds around the Portuguese circuit.
Benetton technical director Mike Gascoyne said: "During the nine day test we were working to a vigorous program and are very glad to have successfully got through it."
