Ferrari to use Giovanardi in Badoer's absence
FERRARI have appointed Fabrizio Giovanardi as a temporary test driver following injuries sustained by Luca Badoer in an accident during a testing session at the Circuit de Catalunya.
Italian driver Giovanardi, currently contracted to drive for Alfa Romeo, will test last year's F2000 car at Vairano, on February 1 and 2.
Giovanardi is currently a competitor in the FIA European Touring Car Championship, driving an Alfa Romeo 156.
