A reshuffle at Ferrari?

There have been reports on the Internet that there is to be a reshuffle of the race team management at Ferrari with Britain's Nigel Stepney taking a much bigger role. Stepney has been race team coordinator for several years and had been rumored to be looking to move up the ladder.

There have been rumors since the Spring that Stepney was in talks to become Director of Racing at Jaguar Racing but our sources in Milton Keynes say that the deal fell through because Jaguar was not willing to match the offers from Ferrari which was also apparently willing to give Stepney the role he desired. If confirmed this will mean that current Ferrari team manager Stefano Domenicali will move to a new position in charge of logistics while the team's senior strategist Ignazio Lunetta will move to a new role in the research and development department.
