Todt rewarded by French Automotive Federation
FERRARI sporting director Jean Todt has been rewarded by the French Automotive Federation for his part in securing a double world championship for the Italian marque in 2000.
Frenchman Todt masterminded Michael Schumacher's third drivers' world title to end a 21-year wait for Ferrari and helped the team to constructors' championship glory. He was consequently awarded the "Man of the Year" Trophy.
Todt received the trophy from former holder Guy Frequelin, Citroen Sport's managing director, who held the title for his work with Citroen in the French Rally Championship.
