Waiting for another denial
WE hear whispers from Italy that Ferrari is about to recruit one of the top engineers from Tom Walkinshaw's Arrows team to help out with the engineering of Michael Schumacher's car next year. The current engineering team at Maranello is basically unchanged since last season except that electronics man Tad Czapski has departed.
The recent departure of Arrows team manager Steve Nielsen was expected to cause a number of other departures from the Leafield team as a number of engineers joined Arrows with Nielsen from the defunct Honda Racing Developments organization. There is no word yet as to which engineer is on his way but it is inevitable that Arrows will deny that anything is changing.
