Nielsen has left Arrows
SINCE we reported exclusively three days ago that Arrows team manager Steve Nielsen had departed, the Arrows team has been denying that this was the case. Today, however, faced with the fact that there is an empty desk in Nielsen's office and that no-one believes the denials anyhow, Arrows has confirmed that one of the brightest young organisational talents in F1 is no longer employed there.
Nielsen and Arrows team boss Tom Walkinshaw agreed to a deal for the future back in the summer but it seems that when it came to writing things down they two could not agree terms.
Assistant team manager Mark Hemsworth and test team manager Ken Page will be in charge of Nielsen's duties on a temporary
basis while the team tries to find someone who is willing to take over the job fulltime.
