Ferrari expand facilities to cope with Sauber and Prost supplies

FERRARI have expanded their facilities at their Maranello base to help cope with their engine supply commitments with Sauber and Prost in the 2001 season.

The double world championship winning team have purchased a large factory unit near their current Maranello home.

The team plan to store equipment that will be used by the Sauber and Prost teams next season in the factory as well as providing more room for personnel to work on the two customer projects.

Swiss team Sauber and French team Prost will both be powered by Ferrari engines next season and the new facility, which will be ready by late December, will improve Ferrari's service to the teams.
