Herbert in disappointing mood

JOHNNY HERBERT has admitted that he wanted more from his career even though he managed to win three Grand Prix.

The former Jaguar driver, who has now retired from the sport, entered the Formula One scene in 1989 and the Briton admitted that he would have expected to do a lot better.

"I was in Formula One to win the championship," said Herbert. "Winning three races is achieving something, sure, but I wanted more than that."

Herbert expressed his intention to move to the American CART series for next year but has yet to announce any deal and there is a distinct lack of competitive drives open for the likeable Brit.
