Italian brake manufacturer Brembo seal AP Racing takeover
ITALIAN brake manufacturers Brembo SpA have completed the buy out of their British counterparts AP Racing in a $43 million deal.
Apart from French company Carbone Industrie, which supplies carbon discs to a few Formula One teams, Brembo now supply most of the Formula One field with brake equipment.
Brembo has become a major distributor to the Formula One world since its first entry in the early 1980s when they took on the responsibility as a supplier to Ferrari.
