Sauber visited by Swiss minister of sport Ogi

SAUBER were honored with a visit from Switzerland's minister of sport Adolf Ogi at their Hinwil headquarters on Friday.

Ogi toured the Sauber team's facilities at Hinwil and made a short speech to the 260 employees, paying tribute to the outfit's 30 years in motorsport and eight years on the Formula One circuit.

"Mr. Ogi seemed to enjoy the day," said a Sauber team spokesman. "He was interested in all departments of the team, and from our point of view we were honored to show him around."

Peter Sauber's team entered Formula One in 1993, with drivers JJ Lehto and Karl Wendlinger, and scored an impressive 12 points. The team's best result to date is the third place Heinz-Harald Frentzen achieved at Monza in 1995.
