Workaholic Schumacher tests at Fiorano
MICHAEL SCHUMACHER lived up to his reputation as one of the hardest working drivers in the Formula One championship as he tested for Ferrari at their Fiorano circuit on Tuesday.
Just 48 hours after the Hungarian Grand Prix, Schumacher completed 115 laps (12 on the shorter track) with a best lap time of one minute and 2.248 seconds.
Schumacher concentrated on testing new components for the F1-2000 car and also worked on set-ups and data acquisition regarding suspension and tires. The German also practiced eight starts.
Schumacher will move to Mugello on Wednesday to continue testing, while Ferrari test driver Luca Badoer will continue the team's work at Fiorano.
