Prost arranging sale

PROST GRAND PRIX have appointed Credit Suisse First Boston to look at arranging a sale for the French Formula One team priced at around £45 million.

Interested bidders are thought to include Hidden Creek, the US private equity firm, and Canadian motor racing company Vector Motor Sports.

Prost, however, are remaining tight-lipped about the developments.

Team owner Alain Prost, despite being one of the most successful drivers in Formula One history, has endured a miserable year with his team.

Prost have rarely been competitive since he took over the team in 1997, and Prost's relationship with engine supplier Peugeot is coming to a close at the end of the season.
