Boullion for Pollock and Jakobi?

FRENCH racer Jean-Christophe Boullion, who been the Williams team's test driver for the last three seasons, is looking for a way to break into Formula 1 next year and has been talking in recent weeks with Craig Pollock and Julian Jakobi about a possible management deal.

Pollock and Jakobi currently look after the careers of World Championship challenger Jacques Villeneuve and Indycar rising star Dario Franchitti. The pair also control the merchandising operations for Prost Grand Prix.

Boullion has been trying to break into F1 since he won the Formula 3000 Championship in 1994. He has been the Williams test driver ever since although he spent half the 1995 season driving for Sauber, alongside Heinz-Harald Frentzen. Without much testing and in an alien environment Boullion did not shine and he has been trying to rebuild his reputation ever since. He has completed tens of thousands of miles of testing with Williams and is highly-rated by the team and at 28 is still young enough to have a good career ahead of him if a deal can be found.
