Berger and Sheene off the hook
GERHARD BERGER and Barry Sheene have resolved their legal problems in Australia. The Queensland police have confirmed that the sexual assault complaint made against the two men by 19-year-old Melanie Hilzinger has been withdrawn. The complaint related to an incident which Hilzinger alleged took place between her and the two racing stars in a toilet in a shopping center on Queensland's Gold Coast.
The lawyers representing both parties said that there will be no comments from either side about the agreement reached between them but rumors in the F1 paddock suggest that there was a substantial financial settlement.
