Gerhard's sex scandal!
BENETTON star Gerhard Berger and former World Motorcycling Champion Barry Sheene could run into legal problems in Australia following allegations made to police by 20-year-old Melanie Hilzinger that she was sexually assaulted by the two men in a restroom at a Queensland shopping center.
The claims relate to an incident in early March before the Australian GP when Berger was vacationing with Sheene on Australia's Gold Coast. The local police have investigated the complaint but at the moment no charges have been made. Sheene and Berger deny the stories and have cooperated with the police investigation.
If the pair are charged, Berger will have to go to court in Australia if he ever wants to race again in Melbourne.
