Chuck Daigh
An engineer from the West Coast sportscar racing scene, Daigh was one of Lance Reventlow's colleagues in the ill-starred Scarab Formula 1 program. He came to Europe with the Woolworth heir in the summer of 1960 in a vain effort to make a mark with the already outdated, front-engined US challengers. He finished a career best 10th in the US Grand Prix at Riverside after also having a run in a Cooper-Climax in that year's British Grand Prix. He raced on into the early 1960s, mainly in sports cars.
