Kazuyoshi Hoshino

Nicknamed "the fastest guy in Japan," Hoshino was Japanese motocross Champion on a Kawasaki before switching to cars as a Nissan factory driver in 1969. The multiple national championship winner in Formula 2, sports cars and - much later - Formula 3000, he ran as high as third in the 1976 Japanese Grand Prix in his Bridgestone-shod Tyrrell 007. He shared the winning Nissan in the 1992 Daytona 24-hours with Masahiro Hasemi and Toshio Suzuki.
