Hans Herrmann

An even-tempered and versatile cafe proprietor who scored his best Formula 1 result with a third place for Mercedes in the 1954 Swiss Grand Prix. After his Formula 1 career drew to a close, he became a regular member of the Porsche sports car team, rounding off his career with a Le Mans victory in 1970 when he shared a 917 with Richard Attwood.
