Practice 3 Report - Michael and Massa at the front

The practice sessions for the United States Grand Prix continued with a decent crowd at the speedway and Ferrari coming to the fore with Michael Schumacher and Felipe Massa dominating the times, a second clear of the rest who were headed on this occasion by Giancarlo Fisichella ahead of Nick Heidfeld's BMW, Rubens Barrichello's Honda and Fernando Alonso's Renault. Jenson Button was seventh quickest ahead of Jacques Villeneuve, Kimi Raikkonen and Juan Pablo Montoya. Tonio Liuzzi was 11th fastest in his Toro Rosso.

The times are probably not very significant as some of the teams were not running on low tanks and new tyres so there are still plenty of question marks over what will happen in qualifying.
