Practice 3 Report - Lewis leads the way
Lewis Hamilton led the final practice before qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix, beating double World Champion Fernando Alonso by 0.079s. The biggest surprise however was that the BMW Saubers of Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld were third and fourth fastest, ahead of David Coulthard's Red Bull-Renault and the two Ferraris of Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen. The Ferrari challenge is expected to be rather stronger when qualifying begins this afternoon with the paddock under the impression that the team is keeping its powder dry before qualifying.
Others to watch are Anthony Davidson, who was back on the pace in his Super Aguri Honda after a quiet time on Friday afternoon. He was eighth ahead of Nico Rosberg's Williams-Toyota and the Renaults of Heikki Kovalainen and Giancarlo Fisichella.
Next up was Jarno Trulli is his Toyota ahead of Rubens Barrichello's Honda, Takuma Sato in the second Aguri, Scott Speed's Toro Rosso and Ralf Schumacher.
Jenson Button was next up ahead of Mark Webber, Alexander Wurz, Tonio Liuzzi and the two Spykers.
