Monaco Grand Prix Preview

RACE DATE: 23 MAY 2004

A Grand Prix circuit since 1929, this historic street circuit has changed little in the intervening years. Twisting through the Monegasque roads around the town's harbour it is something of an anathema in the modern sport, with overtaking almost unheard of, but the most glamorous celebration of precision driving on earth. Graham Hill and Ayrton Senna tie at the top of the Monaco winners list with five apiece, hotly pursued by Michael Schumacher with four. At once loved and loathed by the F1 community, it is of course home to the majority of the sport's star drivers.
