Practice 3 Report - Red Bull looking good to maintain 100% pole record

Red Bull Racing showed that it is poised to take the fight to everyone at Monza, traditionally a weaker circuit for the team in recent years.

As the drivers bolted on the soft option Pirelli at the end of the final session of free practice, Sebastian Vettel (1:23.170) produced the fastest lap of the weekend so far, three and a half tenths clear of team mate Mark Webber (1:23.534), who, unlike Vettel and most of his major rivals, has not taken a new engine for Monza.

Closest challenger to the Red Bulls was Felipe Massa's Ferrari (1:23.688), from the closely matched McLarens of Lewis Hamilton (1:23.741) and Jenson Button (1:23.787).

McLaren appeared to be having set-up issues, with Button reporting more oversteer and the team changing the torsion bars mid session.

Nico Rosberg (1:23.875), who missed much of FP2 on Friday with a KERS issue, was in touch with the first Mercedes, sixth quickest and one place up on team mate Michael Schumacher (1:24.114).

Fernando Alonso (1:24.133) still has some time to make up from eighth fastest, half a second down on team mate Massa, with the closely-matched Force Indias of Adrian Sutil (1:24.543) and Paul Di Resta (1:24.581) completing the top 10.
