Practice 1 Report - Schumacher tops in Budapest

Michael Schumacher set the fastest time of the first session in Hungary ahead of his team mate Rubens Barrichello. The third fastest time in the session went to BAR test driver Anthony Davidson with Kimi Raikkonen and David Coulthard fourth and fifth in their McLarens, ahead of Juan Pablo Montoya's Williams and the two Toyotas of Olivier Panis and new boy Ryan Briscoe. Jarno Trulli was ninth with Jenson Button 10th, ahead of Fernando Alonso, Giancarlo Fisichella and Ricardo Zonta.

There were not major incidents in the session although Mark Webber failed to set a time because of technical problems.
