Practice 1 Report - Davidson tops the bill
Anthony Davidson headed the timesheets after the first testing session for the European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring, setting a lap which was a tenth faster than Michael Schumacher. The Ferrari star was three tenths quicker than Rubens Barrichello while Mark Webber was fourth quickest, albeit two seconds slower than Davidson's best time. Although the times are not hugely significant it is still an indication that Davidson wants to be taken seriously as the Formula 1 teams look at their driver line-ups for the 2005 season. The only major incident of note was that Giancarlo Fisichella stopped out on the circuit in his Sauber.
