Practice 2 Report - Ferrari on top at Silverstone
On Friday afternoon Kimi Raikkonen was again at the top of the F1 timesheets with Ferrari team-mate Felipe Massa behind him. Whether this is a clear indication for the rest of the weekend remains to be seen but third fastest was Ralf Schumacher, a long way back in his Toyota, his best lap being seven-tenths from Raikkonen's best but still better than the best lap produced by Lewis Hamilton's McLaren.
Jarno Trulli was next up for Toyota ahead of Fernando Alonso's McLaren and Nico Rosberg in the Williams-Toyota, who had team-mate Alexander Wurz right up with him.
Mark Webber gave Red Bull Racing reason to be optimistic with ninth overall and ended up ahead of Super Aguri's Anthony Davidson, the fastest of the Honda drivers on this occasion.
Next up were the two Renaults of Heikki Kovalainen and Giancarlo Fisichella. The BMWs were rather further back when they would normally be with Robert Kubica 13th and Nick Heidfeld 15th, the apir being split by David Coulthard.
Takuma Sato was 16th for Super Aguri with Honda factory driver Rubens Barrichello next ahead of Scott Speed of Scuderia Toro Rosso and Christian Klien, who stood in for Jenson Button, who decided to sit out the session because of a jarred back in the morning.
Tonio Liuzzi was next ahead of the two Spykers: Adrian Sutil crashed at Copse but without too much damage and so was behind Christijan Albers.
