Practice 3 Report - Felipe Massa on top at home
Felipe Massa set the fastest time of the morning session on Saturday in Brazil, a tenth faster than his Ferrari team mate Michael Schumacher. The pair were seven-tenths clear of the best of the rest, Jenson Button in his Honda F1. The top men were obviously pushing hard, however, as there were spins during the session for Michael Schumacher, Giancarlo Fisichella and Nico Rosberg.
Fourth quickest in the overcast conditions was the BMW of Robert Kubica ahead of Giancarlo Fisichella's Renault, Rubens Barrichello's Honda and World Championship contender Fernando Alonso. The top was completed by the McLarens of Kimi Raikkonen and Pedro de la Rosa and Nick Heidfeld's BMW with the two Williams-Cosworths of Mark Webber and Rosberg next ahead of the two Toro Rossos of Scott Speed and Tonio Liuzzi. The Toyotas seemed to be in trouble with Ralf Schumacher 16th and Jarno Trulli 20th, while Red Bull Racing also failed to impress with Robert Doornbos 15th (but due to have a 10-place drop on the grid after an engine change) and David Coulthard 19th.
