Practice 3 Report - Webber tops final practice at Spa

Mark Webber (2:08.988) celebrated his new Red Bull deal with fastest lap in a washed out final session of free practice ahead of qualifying for the Belgian GP.

Treacherous conditions greeted drivers as they prepared to venture out for the final hour without having yet had a proper opportunity to collect much dry weather data. With qualifying showing every sign of being wet and the possibility of mixed conditions in tomorrow's race, tyre conservation became the order of the day.

Lewis Hamilton (2:09.046) finished up closest to Webber, McLaren telling Lewis that his pace was good and that Webber set his time when the track conditions were slightly drier.

Jaime Alguersuari (2:09.931) was third fastest for Toro Rosso, ahead of Jenson Button with the second McLaren (2:10.257), the Hungarian GP winner reporting that there were still some balance issues to sort out.

Sebastian Vettel finished the session with a 2:10.402, in fifth place, ahead of Sebastian Buemi's Toro Rosso (2:10.580). Nico Rosberg's Mercedes was seventh quickest (2:10.837), ahead of Adrian Sutil's Force India (2:11.437).

Bruno Senna (2:11.664) did an impressive job in the tricky conditions to put his Renault ninth in 14 laps, some 1.6s up on team mate Vitaly Petrov, who completed a similar number of laps. Michael Schumacher (2:11.667) completed the top 10, fractionally slower.

Both Ferrari drivers went into full tyre conservation mode, neither Fernando Alonso nor Felipe Massa bothering to set a representative time.
