Practice 3 Report - Hamilton leads the way
Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time of the Saturday morning session in Bahrain, beating Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen by just 0.006secs to set up the possibility that Hamilton could win his first pole position in the qualifying session this afternoon. The two men were just a tenth ahead of the BMWs of Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica with Anthony Davidson surprising everyone with the fifth best time in his Super Aguri F1, beating Ferrari's Felipe Massa, who made a mistake on his flying lap, Fernando Alonso, Mark Webber and the two Renaults of Giancarlo Fisichella and Heikki Kovalainen. The two Williams-Toyotas were 11th and 12th with Nico Rosberg beating Alexander Wurz and Tonio Liuzzi was 13th in his Toro Rosso.
Much depends on what fuel loads the cars were carrying in the session but it seems that this may not be the Ferrari massacre which it has looked like being for the last few days.
