Practice 2 Report - Alexander the great

Alexander Wurz topped the bill at Bahrain on Friday afternoon with a lap which was 1.2secs ahead of Fernando Alonso's Renault. The Austrian is serving as McLaren's third driver for the weekend. Tonio Liuzzi impressed with the third fastest time in his Red Bull ahead of Pedro de la Rosa (McLaren), Michael Schumacher (Ferrari), Jarno Trulli (Toyota), Giancarlo Fisichella (Renault), Kimi Raikkonen (McLaren), Jenson Button (BAR-Honda) and Ralf Schumacher (Toyota).

The times are probably not very significant as many of the drivers conserving their engines as F1 goes into the second cycle of two-race engines.
