A happy ending for former F1 man
Tomas Enge's career in racing seemed under threat a few weeks ago when the former F1 racer crashed heavily at the wheel of an ALMS Ferrari and shattered his elbow. The Czech driver has since made an astonishing recovery, following successful surgery, and he returned to the ALMS series at the weekend at the Miller Motorsports Park in Salt Lake City, sharing his Petersen Motorsports/White Lightning Racing Ferrari with Darren Turner. The pair ended the day with victory in the GT2 class, one lap ahead of the Porsche of Johannes van Overbeek and Jorg Bergmeister. Enge is now getting ready to race for Aston Martin in the Le Mans 24 Hours.
