Cadillac team to go CART

The Cadillac sports car program may have come to an end but it seems that members of the team are looking at getting together again to start their own CART Champ Car operation. The Cadillac team included former F1 men Jeff Hazell and Nigel Stroud. Hazell is a former Williams team manager and the man who ran the successful McLaren F1 sports car program. The team's Wayne Taylor was spotted in the paddock at Long Beach over the weekend and is talking about running a limited program of events this year and then a full two-car team in 2004.

The rumors suggest that the drivers would be men who are currently employed as F1 test drivers.
