Former Jordan F1 driver Timo Glock has now been confirmed as a driver with Rocketsports Racing in the Champ Car World Series. The young German will be teamed with rising American star Ryan Hunter-Reay. Glock takes sponsorship from Deutsche Post's Speed Academy with him to the United States.

Glock had been expected to stay at Jordan after making a good impression last year but after Eddie Jordan sold the team he decided that his future would be better in the United States. Glock joins a number of other F1 refugees (or hopefuls) in the United States, including Sebastien Bourdais, Ryan Briscoe, Bjorn Wirdheim, Justin Wilson, Bruno Junqueira and Cristiano da Matta.
