Gregor Foitek

This abnormally brace youngster - whose father Karl raced a 2-liter Lola sports car with some success in the early 1970s - made his Formula 1 debut with Brabham at the start of 1990 before being replaced by David Brabham after the first two events. Foitek then switched to the Onyx team, by then controlled by Peter Monteverdi, and his Formula 1 career prospects evaporated when the team pulled out in the middle of the year. He briefly tried Indycar racing in 1991 but then disappeared from racing.
