Tom Belso

Danish racer who started out in touring cars but became a Formula 2 racer in 1972 with a Team Viking Brabham. He began to show better towards the end of the year with a fourth place at Albi. In 1973 he raced a Lola in Formula 5000, taking part in the Race of Champions and the International Trophy in which he finished seventh and eighth. He also qualified a Williams for the Swedish GP but could not start the race because money did not arrive. He tried to qualify a Williams on four occasions in 1974 but was successful only in South Africa and Sweden.
