Tim Parnell

Popular, easygoing son of Reg Parnell, Tim took part in the 1961 British and Italian Grands Prix in his own privately run Lotus-Climax 18 as well as taking in an extensive non-Championship program. He retired after a handful of events in 1961, later operating Parnell Racing after his father's death in early 1964 and eventually becoming the works BRM team manager from 1970 to 74. He is now a pig farmer based near Derby and an active director of the British Racing Drivers' Club.
