Peter Broeker
Stebro Systems paid for the construction of Formula Junior chassis for the Canadian market. In 1963 the company managed to convince the organizers at Watkins Glen to allow it to run a Ford-engined chassis in the United States Grand Prix. Peter Broeker was 15secs off the pace in practice but in the race he managed to keep the car running although he had completed only 88 laps when the 110 lap race finished. He was classified seventh. Broeker continued to race his Stebro on the national level before switching to a Chevron in 1969 to compete in Formula B races.
