FRENCH GP - SATURDAY - PRACTICE SESSION 3 REPORT
Villeneuve tops the charts
Jacques Villeneuve has ambitions to become a successful rock singer but at Magny-Cours he had to make do with being top of the time charts in the morning session on Saturday. The French Canadian set the fastest time of the session ahead of his BMW team mate Nick Heidfeld but the fact that Jarno Trulli was third fastest and Nico Rosberg was fourth seemed to suggest that things had not got very serious in the session.
Mark Webber was fifth fastest in his Williams ahead of Jenson Button's Honda. McLaren's duo Kimi Raikkonen and Pedro de la Rosa were seventh and eighth ahead of Ralf Schumacher in the second Toyota and David Coulthard in the Red Bull. Michael Schumacher had a small fire in his Ferrari, while Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa and Giancarlo Fisichella both had off track moments.
