UNITED STATES GP - FRIDAY - PRACTICE SESSION 2 REPORT

Davidson still on top

Anthony Davidson continued to dominate practice at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, taking his Honda to a best lap in the afternoon session of 1m12.013s, eight-tenths of a second ahead of BMW's test driver Robert Kubica. Third fastest was Giancarlo Fisichella of Renault, the fastest of the regular drivers, followed by Felipe Massa (Ferrari) and the impressive Swiss youngster Giorgio Mondini (MF1). Michael Schumacher was sixth ahead of Tiago Monteiro (MF1), Jenson Button (Honda), Kimi Raikkonen (McLaren Mercedes) and  Fernando Alonso (Renault).

Local hero Scott Speed (Scuderia Toro Rosso) was 11th fastest ahead of Nick Heidfeld (BMW) and Tonio Liuzzi (Toro Rosso).
