MONACO GP - SATURDAY - PRACTICE SESSION 3 REPORT
Fernando still on top
Fernando Alonso stayed ahead of the pack at Monte Carlo on Saturday morning with a best lap of 1m13.823s, which was within two-tenths of pole position from last year, despite the fact that V10s have been replaced with V8s. Alonso was two-tenths of a second ahead of Michael Schumacher with Giancarlo Fisichella third quickest. The Red Bull Racing driver was just half a second behind Ferrari, a decent performance for the team which has struggled this year. Fifth and seventh fastest were the Williams-Cosworths of Nico Rosberg and Mark Webber, the two men split by Juan Pablo Montoya's McLaren. Felipe 0assa was eighth quickest ahead of Jenson Button and Kimi Raikkonen. Tiago Monteiro continued to show well in the MF1 Racing, setting the 14th fastest time.
Toyota, however, looked to be in trouble with Jarno Trulli and Ralf Schumacher down at the back with the Super Aguris.
