EUROPEAN GP - FRIDAY - PRACTICE SESSION 1 REPORT
Wurz leads the way in Germany
The F1 test drivers had it all to themselves on Friday morning with Alexander Wurz ending the first session at the top of the timesheets. He was three-tenths ahead of Honda's Anthony Davidson with BMW's Robert Kubica third fastest ahead of Michael Schumacher and Red Bull Racing's Robert Doornbos. Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello were sixth and seventh for Honda while the other major players were not trying too hard.
The two Renault drivers, plus the race drivers from Williams, BMW and Red Bull did only a few installation laps.
Franck Montagny had his first chance to try out the Super Aguri while local hero Adrian Sutil was seen at the wheel of an MF1.
