FRENCH GP - FRIDAY - MORNING PRACTICE REPORT

Webber fastest in wet morning

Mark Webber was the fastest in the first official practice session for the French Grand Prix, despite the fact that the Jaguar driver was run into in the pitlane by Michael Schumacher.

The session featured a good showing from Michelin with Ralf Schumacher second followed by the two Renaults of Fernando Alonso and Jarno Trulli and Antonio Pizzonia in the second Jaguar.

Michael Schumacher was sixth fastest.
