More details of the Kubica shunt
Kubica is being taken to the L'Hopital du Sacre-Coeur de Montreal in the downtown area for tests following his enormous crash in the Canadian Grand Prix. The Polish driver is reported to be fine and talking. Kubica hit the wall at high speed on lap 27 while he was fighting for 13th place with Jarno Trulli. The collosal impact, on the right side of the track in the fast left-hander before the hairpin, catapulted the car back across the track , coming to rest on its side at the hairpin. He was extracted from the car eight minutes after the crash.
