Ammermuller wins GP2 at Valencia

German rookie Michael Ammermuller won Sunday's GP2 race at Valencia for Arden International, ahead of Ernesto Viso in second and Nicolas Lapierre in third.

During the race Adam Carroll made contact with Adrian Valles and had a large accident in which the car flipped several times, but he emerged unscathed.

Nelson Piquet Jr. finished in fourth, and after winning the race on Saturday now leads the championship with 16 points, over Lapierre with 10 points and Lewis Hamilton in third with 9 points.
