Mercedes pushing sporting image
Mercedes-Benz used the Geneva Motor Show to underline the company's sporting tradition, spotlighting a series of five new models from the company's in-house supercar division AMG. The company is trying to push up sales and increase profits in difficult market conditions and strong opposition, notably from BMW.
The company recently said that it is to cut 6,000 management jobs in an effort to cut its costs. This followed a further 8,500 job cuts last year.
