Fisichella fastest in the damp
The track was damp at Magny-Cours this morning when the F1 teams went out for practice for the French GP and Giancarlo Fisichella set the pace with Ralf Schumacher second for Toyota ahead of Kimi Raikkonen, Fernando Alonso, Michael Schumacher, Takuma Sato, Rubens Barrichello and Juan-Pablo Montoya. The top 10 was completed by Jenson Button and Nick Heidfeld.
There were no incidents in the two 45-minute sessions. Renault is keen for a victory at home with Renault's new chairman Carlos Ghosn due to make his first visit to an F1 race on Sunday.
