Ferrari team principals to meet the Pope

Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello, Jean Todt and others will be meeting the Pope in Rome next week. No doubt the pontiff will be asking these miracle workers what he should do to make the Catholic Church run a little more smoothly.

The Pope met Schumacher back in 1999 when the German was recovering from his broken leg.

It is not the first time that the Pope has been involved in Formula 1. In 1985 Alain Prost had an audience with the Pope in Rome and in 1988 the Pope paid a visit to the Ferrari headquarters in Maranello, a few days before the death of Enzo Ferrari.
