Williams and Scott Dixon

As we reported exclusively a few weeks ago Williams is to test the Indy Racing League champion Scott Dixon. The test will take place next week at Paul Ricard with a further session planned for April. The first test will be to get the New Zealander used to the car and the April test will be to see how quick he is. At the moment neither Dixon nor his manager Stefan Johansson is making any comment

Dixon is 23 and has always wanted to be an F1 driver. He is the youngest man ever to win a CART races (at 20) and he won the IRL title last year at his first attempt. Dixon currently drive for Chip Ganassi, who has close links with Williams thanks to a number of driver deals between the two organisations in previous years.
