Renault and NTT DoCoMo (Part 2)

As we revealed last week,the Mild Seven Renault F1 Team has agreed a long-term partnership with NTT DoCoMo, the mobile communications company. The sponsorship will be used to promote i-mode the Japanese company's mobile e-mail and internet access. In addition to serving over 40m mobile phone users in Japan, i-mode is available in Taiwan, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Spain.

NTT DoCoMo has an ongoing relationship with Renault partner Nissan and the sponsorship is believed to be linked to that.

"This relationship is a tremendous opportunity to enhance awareness of our world-leading i-mode brand in F1 markets around the globe," said Keii-chi Enoki, managing director of NTT DoCoMo's i-mode Business Division.
