Rockingham is off
CART will not be coming back to Rockingham Motor Speedway. The announcement was made by CART after Rockingham's management decided that the race was not financially viable. CART is expected to announce that it has agreed deals with a number of European venues to keep the international flavour of the series going.
"We certainly intend for the European market to be well represented on the 2003 Champ Car series schedule," said CART chief executive Chris Pook.
